Quebec

Interesting article. I have just move to Montreal from Vancouver Island BC. While the wages are better in BC it is difficult to get on the public school lists in Vicoria (and thus reap the benefits of better wages). I worked at private school in Victoria and they pay less than the regular public school (yes, less). While the salary is less in Quebec the cost of living (rent) is much lower than in Victoria or Vancouver (about 30-35% less in Quebec). I am also studying French with the goal of becoming more employable and getting a 5+ wage. Just thought I'd add that for a different perspective. (Note: it is easier to find a job in Vancouver than Victoria).
